Do not have enough deck around my pool to place my A-B points at least 3 feet from the pool perimeter edge.

If you have an area adjacent to your deck that is not concrete, you can use stakes for your A and B points.  A long screwdriver works well.  You should adhere to all the other rules regarding the distance between the A and B points.
While it is ideal to have the A-B line along the length of the pool, you may move it to one end of the pool.  All other rules should be adhered to.


My pool ladders and handrails are removeable.  Do they still require point dimensions?

Only obstacles that cannot be easily removed from the pool deck require dimensions.


I received 3 Exports when I downloaded A-B My Pool.  How are these used in my app?

You may create as many projects as you wish and Exports are only consumed when those projects are submitted for quoting or ordering.  Once you have consumed your total number of Exports you may purchase more through your app store.

I am uncertain what company I wish to provide a quote for my pool project.  What are my alternatives?

On the My Account page in the Distributor Information section insert quote@abmypool.com in the email address.  We will provide a quote for your project which you may then send to your choice of dealers or distributors.


What is a liner bead or bead receiver?

A specially shaped "bead" is attached by the manufacturer to the edge of the liner.  This bead slips into a slit or receiver around the inside perimeter of the pool.  You should always measure from the bead receiver when determining depths for a vinyl pool liner.

Why must I use the A-B method to measure my pool.

Using the A-B method achieves the most accurate measurement of your pool. A-B measuring is required if your pool is freeform in shape, has any other unique characteristics, or you wish to match existing safety cover anchor locations for a new safety cover.  A-B My Pool uses this method because it is the most accurate and the application will generate an image of your pool perimeter using this method.
